Dissertation and Thesis Binding

At SBC, students can heat bind their work in the Campus Library. Binders are available for projects up to 300 pages long at an average cost of £1.60 per binder.

Facilities for comb binding are also available on Campus via the Borders College Publications and Marketing Office, situated in the research wing. Charges vary and we recommend requesting binding services in advance.

Comb binding for all dissertations and reports is available for Dubai campus students at the comb binding facility in the Copy Centre, 1^st Floor, Academic Building. This service is on the first come, first served basis and is usually takes 10-15 minutes for each student.

Please use this link to book a slot of your choice. If you need to cancel your slot/book a different time it is very simple to change on the site.

Graphic and Printing Services won't turn anyone away but priority will be given to students who have booked an appointment, and depending on how busy it is, if you don't use it, you might have the leave your work for binding and return one to two hours later.

Appointments may be made with Graphic and Printing Services for comb binding. Each five minute appointment allows up to three comb bindings for dissertations and reports. If you require more than three bindings, then you should book the the next slot too.

All ICIT taught postgraduate dissertations are submitted electronically, so binding is not required for masters students.
