Discovery allows Heriot-Watt University students and staff to find books, journals, journal articles, reports, electronic books, market reports, newspaper articles, etc., easily and quickly using a single search box.
Log-in to Discovery using your Heriot-Watt username/password in the format [abc123], this will allow you to save your searches/results, see which print items you have out on loan and renew/reserve print items.
To access the full-text of eBooks/Journals, you will need to log-in again when prompted.
Note: not all of our databases are searched by Discovery and some databases have additional functions/features that you can only use if you access them directly. Please consult your Subject Guide to find out which resources are best for your subject area.
