SciFinder-n: Finding chemical prices in SciFinder-n

SciFinder-n includes pricing information for many chemicals.  To find prices in SciFinder-n:

1. Log into SciFinder-n (you will need an individual SciFinder account in addition to your Heriot-Watt username and password).
2. Click on "Suppliers".  Type the name of your chemical into the search box, and click on the magnifying glass to search:

   

3. Check if pricing information is available in SciFinder:

Note that many of the prices in SciFinder-n are for lab quantities, rather than the bulk quantities required for chemical engineering projects.
