Includes citing and referencing tips and guidance and gives examples in Harvard, APA, MLA, OSCOLA and Vancouver styles.
It can be used on it's own or in conjunction with EndNote. The Harvard style shown matches the 'Harvard HWU Cite Them Right' style in EndNote.

Reference management software can help you collect and organise your references and ensure consistency with your in-text citations and reference list. The Reference Management Software provided by Heriot-Watt is called EndNote. See:
EndNote is reference management software. You can store reference details, and then if using Microsoft Word you can insert citations into your work and it will automatically format the reference list at the end.
