An example search strategy might look like this:
- Formulate a clear, focused research question
- Define search limits Identify key concepts / keywords and alternative key concepts / keywords
- Identify relevant resources to search with
- Construct your search strategy (concepts and keywords and how they are combined) and search
- Review and assess results and revise search if applicable (e.g. adding/amending/removing keywords)
- If happy with your searches/results, save them and set up alerts
- Export the bibliographic details, abstract and keywords into EndNote, edit as appropriate, add own research notes/keywords
- Find full-text in EndNote. When this does not work, find full-text using Discovery and append
