Professional accreditation for your subject

It is worth looking into the professional body that accredits your course:

  1. for professional reasons e.g. networking, meetings, events etc but also because
  2. they often have library resources/services available to you e.g. journals we may not subscribe to, as well as briefings papers etc, that will keep you up to speed with developments in your area (if you are not sure what you have full-text access to, please get in touch)

Please also be aware that much of the professional literature, for the built environment subjects, is available via the:

Architectural Engineering

Biological Sciences

Civil and Structural Engineering

Construction Management and Surveying

Food Science, Health and Nutrition

Petroleum Engineering and Geoscience
